In 2019, my wife and I launched our first location with two machines while still working full-time. We weren’t experts. We had bills to pay, day jobs, and the same fears you probably have right now:

  • How much does it cost to start a self-serve dog wash?

    • Our guide shows an actual startup case: $55,050 covered equipment, buildout, permits, and insurance. You’ll see exactly where every dollar goes and how to budget realistically for your first location. The puppered machines are about $22,000 each.

  • Where do I start?

    • Start by looking for a location first, then machines. Many people waste too much time researching machines when in fact it will take you much longer to find the perfect location. I created a free youtube video that walks you through the exact websites, scouting strategies, and criteria we used to pick our locations.

  • How long before I start making money?

    • Although results will vary by location, in our real 19-month case study of a location we launched, we earned $1,363 and grew to $4,777 by month 19. We also break down seasonal patterns so you can anticipate busy months and plan cash flow.

  • How do I know if I will be successful?

    • Although we can't assure your success, we have created loads of content and even created a free personal readiness assessment which finances, schedule, and goals.
